BRASS IN CONCERT CHAMPIONSHIP 2011

The Brass in Concert Championship in 2011 enjoyed arguably its most successful day since the move to The Sage Gateshead in 2005 with the standard of playing and programming being particularly high. The final placing and awards were in doubt until the day's very last note had been played. Brass in Concert is now a true festival of brass in every regard with workshops, concerts and the contest taking place over the weekend. The organisers declared the weekend a stunning success and paid tribute to the loyal audience which had packed out the event throughout.
